Autonomous EV Developer Turing to Host “Turing Semiconductor/AI Day” on March 13, Showcasing the Forefront of Semiconductors, Generative AI, and Autonomous Driving

Turing Inc. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Issei Yamamoto; hereinafter “Turing”), a company committed to the development and sales of fully autonomous electric vehicles, will hold “Turing Semiconductor/AI Day” on March 13 at 19:00, presenting the latest advancements in semiconductors, generative AI, and autonomous driving. CEO Issei Yamamoto will announce Turing’s strategy and future roadmap, and project leaders will present the development progress and technical details of the company’s projects.

About “Turing Semiconductor/AI Day”

Turing believes that fully autonomous driving requires an AI that understands the world at least as well as humans do, and is developing multimodal models to comprehend the world at a very high level. We are also developing our own semiconductor chips to run large models in vehicles. In February, we were selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry/NEDO’s “GENIAC Project” to support the development of competitive generative AI base models.

At “Turing Semiconductor/AI Day,” we will present our latest developments, such as our in-vehicle generative AI accelerator semiconductor “Hummingbird,” and discuss the progress and future roadmap for multimodal generative AI development.
