Issei Yamamoto
FOUNDER, CEO of Turing, the company with the mission of “We Overtake Tesla.” Spent 10 years developing the computer shogi program Ponanza, achieving the milestone of defeating a professional master. After graduating from the University of Tokyo Graduate School, he joined HEROZ Inc., where he served as a lead engineer and supported the company through its IPO. He has given numerous talks, both in Japan and internationally, and has appeared on the TV program Jounetsu Tairiku. He concurrently serves as a Specially Appointed Professor at Aichi Gakuin University.

Daisuke Tanaka
COO.Graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in Economics. After working at SPARX Group and Digital Hearts Holdings, he joined Google, where he gave numerous talks as an “Evangelist” for corporate cloud services. In 2016, he joined Medley Inc., contributing to its IPO as an Executive Officer and Business Head. In January 2023, he joined Turing as Director and COO.

Masato Morishima
CFO.Graduated with High Distinction from Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. After working at GE Japan and GE’s U.S. headquarters, he joined Morgan Stanley’s Menlo Park office, where he handled IPOs, fundraising, and M&A advisory for technology companies. Upon retur.ing to Japan, he joined One Capital Inc., leading the ¥4.5 billion Series B fundraising for portfolio company oVice Inc., where he later became CFO. In July 2024, he joined Turing as CFO.

Ryozo Yamamoto
Outside Director. He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and completed a master’s degree in Creative Energy Engineering at the Institute’s Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering. After working on control systems development for Honda’s Formula One engines, he held positions at Dream Incubator, Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, and Seismic Holdings before joining Global Brain Corporation in 2019. He has been engaged in startup investment, technology due diligence, and portfolio support, primarily in the hardware and manufacturing sectors. He was appointed Outside Director of Turing in March 2026.

Shinobu Amagoshi
Audit & Supervisory Board Member. She graduated from Kyoto University with a degree in chemistry from the Faculty of Science. After working in financial product development at a foreign financial institution, she qualified as a Certified Public Accountant. At Mitsui & Co., she was involved in accounting, consolidated financial reporting, IFRS implementation, and financial management at overseas subsidiaries. She later held roles in corporate administration, finance, investor relations, and corporate planning at several companies, including MILIZE and CINC, supporting stronger management systems at both listed companies and startups. She was appointed Audit & Supervisory Board Member of Turing in March 2026. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Executive Officers

Yamaguchi Yu
CTO / Executive Officer.While working as a researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and as a visiting researcher at the U.S. NIST, he began independently developing deep learning for game AI. As the lead developer for a Japanese Go AI project, he designed and implemented parallel distributed reinforcement learning across up to 1,100 GPUs, becoming a runner-up and later winning a world championship in Shogi AI. After serving as an Executive Officer at HEROZ Inc., he helped found Turing in 2022 and was appointed CTO in August 2024, and also serves as manager of the Generative AI Team.

Yugo Tokuchi
Executive Officer overseeing External Affairs and Business Development. He began his career in international business at Bandai Namco Entertainment before founding a business venture in India. After returning to Japan, he held leadership positions at Metaps Inc. and Media Do Co., Ltd., where he launched and led new businesses. Throughout his career, he has focused on business development with stakeholders across industries and cultures.
He joined Turing in March 2023. He leads coordination among government, industry, and academia in national projects involving the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and other public institutions. He also oversees a large-scale consortium on safety assurance for end-to-end autonomous driving, leading the initiative from regulatory design through technical demonstration. In addition, he works on strategic partnerships with major automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and transportation operators.
He was appointed Chief Business Officer in August 2024 and Executive Officer in March 2026.

Kotaro Tanahashi
Executive Officer. He joined Recruit as a new graduate in 2015 and worked on machine learning for optimization in areas including advertising, talent matching, and delivery routing. While working on the social implementation of quantum annealing technology, he was involved in a MITOU project and contributed to the development of PyQUBO, an open-source Python library that became a de facto industry standard for making quantum annealing easier to use. He joined Turing in May 2023 and serves as Manager of Autonomous Driving Group 1, which is primarily responsible for model development. He was appointed Executive Officer in March 2026.

Shotaro Watanabe
Executive Officer. After completing graduate school, he joined CyberAgent, where he was involved in development from the technology selection stage across a wide range of fields, including gaming, SaaS, e-commerce, and advertising services. After working at Recruit, he joined Turing. Following roles including Project Leader for THE FIRST TURING CAR, the company’s first vehicle sold to end users, he now serves as Manager of Autonomous Driving Group 2, which is responsible for vehicle and embedded systems development. He was appointed Executive Officer in March 2026.

Kohei Osugi
Executive Officer. After graduating from university, he held finance-related roles at Toppan Printing and Olympus, with responsibilities spanning finance, investor relations, management accounting, fundraising, and M&A. He later worked in corporate planning and business strategy at Recruit, before taking on broader corporate administration and corporate planning responsibilities at Medley and Wantedly. He joined Turing in October 2023 and serves as Head of Finance & Accounting, leading fundraising and corporate management with a focus on finance. He was appointed Executive Officer in March 2026.
