Turing Launches Test Drive Events for Corporations in ChibaAccelerating Collaboration for the Development and Manufacture of Autonomous Vehicles

Turing Inc. (Kashiwa City, Chiba; CEO: Issei Yamamoto; hereinafter referred to as “Turing”) is hosting test drive events for autonomous vehicles with the goal of accelerating collaboration in their development and manufacture. Through these test drives, Turing hopes to advance collaboration on AI autonomous driving technology by showcasing its products and technological capabilities.

Background of the Test Drive Event

Turing has conducted road tests and proof-of-concept experiments for its AI autonomous driving systems on public roads in Chiba and Hokkaido, and has conducted speed and endurance tests at the JARI Shirosato Test Center. Starting in November 2022, Turing plans to provide corporate clients with firsthand experience of its autonomous driving technology.

About Turing’s Fully Autonomous Vehicles

Turing specializes in AI and perception technologies, developing a fully autonomous driving system that “learns more as it drives.” The company is also incorporating multimodal learning and natural language processing technologies to develop an autonomous driving system that mimics human judgment and intellect.

Turing is also focused on the development of onboard systems with the goal of manufacturing and selling EVs equipped with these autonomous driving features.
