The Bitter Lesson

In the long run, scaling through computation—not heuristic tweaks—wins.

Rather than relying on clever shortcuts, we choose general, fundamental solutions that endure.

Less is More

In both code and meetings, achieving the same outcome with less is the virtue.

We constantly ask, “What can we remove?”—eliminating complexity to focus on what truly matters.

Try Skewering the Marshmallow

Instead of waiting for a perfect plan, start by making something real.

We do not underestimate the cost of hesitation or delay, and we iterate quickly through early execution and continuous improvement.

“Try Skewering the Marshmallow” is inspired by the well-known “Marshmallow Challenge,” a workshop exercise that revealed an unexpected result: kindergarten students often build taller towers than MBA students by placing the marshmallow early and iterating through trial and error. It is a reminder of the power of early action.

Keep Teams Small, Fast, and Adaptive

Teams are kept intentionally small, with leadership and roles flexibly evolving as circumstances change.

Even amid rapid change, we never lose sight of respect and open dialogue.

Still, We Move Forward

Progress inevitably brings friction and pain.

We do not shy away from difficulty; we embrace discomfort as fuel for growth—and move forward regardless.
