Autonomous EV Developer Turing Secures 520 Million Yen in Funding from Management and Angel InvestorsTotal Funding Reaches 1.52 Billion yen

Turing Inc. (Kashiwa City, Chiba; CEO: Issei Yamamoto; hereinafter “Turing”), a company committed to the development and sales of fully autonomous electric vehicles, has secured 520 million yen in funding from its CEO Issei Yamamoto, COO Daisuke Tanaka, and five angel investors. This funding, combined with the 1 billion yen raised in the seed round, brings Turing’s raised funds total to 1.52 billion yen.

Funding Background:

In a pre-Series A round, Turing raised 520 million yen through J-KISS type stock acquisition rights from seven participants: five angel investors with extensive management/business experience, CEO Issei Yamamoto, and COO Daisuke Tanaka. The angel investors who joined this round offered ongoing support as Turing’s “long-term cheerleaders,” providing management advice and feedback on products. The participation of Turing’s management in this round underscores their deep commitment to the company’s direction. The funds will be allocated towards the development costs of Turing’s in-house produced EVs, which are planned for release to the market in 2025.
