Turing CTO Yu Yamaguchi Awarded Gold Medal in Kaggle’s “The 2026 NeuroGolf Championship”
Turing Inc. today announced that its Chief Technology Officer, Yu Yamaguchi, has been awarded a Gold Medal in The 2026 NeuroGolf Championship, hosted on Kaggle, one of the world’s largest data science and machine learning competition platforms.
The competition challenged participants to solve ARC-AGI—a benchmark for evaluating abstract reasoning capabilities—by applying image transformation tasks using highly compact and efficient neural networks. Submissions were required to be lightweight ONNX models that minimize parameter count and memory usage without sacrificing accuracy.
Developing compact, computationally efficient AI models is crucial for deploying real-time autonomous driving systems within resource-constrained in-vehicle environments. Turing remains committed to advancing its research and development in AI efficiency and performance to make fully autonomous driving a reality.
